Gladys Arceneaux

Gladys Dryden Arceneaux, 88, a native and resident of Houma, died at
1:25 p.m. Sunday.

Visitation will be from 5 until 10 p.m. today at the funeral home. A
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Falgout Funeral Home
Chapel in Houma.

Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery.

Survivors include: two sons, Ted and Lincoln Dryden, both of Houma; one
step- son, Wallace Dryden; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Ruth) Valure of
Houma and Virginia Valure of Bourg; two stepdaughters, Dorothy Kindell
and Hilda Schutz; one brother, Albert A. Naquin of Houma; one sister,
Julia Hebert of Houma; 38 grandchildren, 104 great-grandchildren, 35
great-great-grandchildren; five step- grandchildren, 15
step-great-grandchildren and two step-great-great- grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer F. Dryden; her
second husband, Huberville Arceneaux; her parents, Noville Naquin and
Elverna Chauvin; and one daughter, Elizabeth Davis.

Falgout Funeral Home of Houma is handling arrangements.
