Virgil Pugh

Virgil Leslie Pugh, 54, a native of Dewey, Okla., and a resident of
Houma, died at 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home.

The body is being sent to More Funeral Home in Bartlesville, Okla.

Survivors include his wife, Berta Herring Pugh; one son, Joel Pugh;
three daughters, Mrs. Greg (Kay) Jones of Machetongo, Va., Mrs. Bob
(Karen) Pyfer and Lori Beth Pugh; three sisters, Mrs. Alvadia Perkins of
Bartlesville, Okla., Mrs. Freda Gilmore of McAlster, Okla., and Mrs.
Wvonne Santourian of Tarzana, Calif.; six brothers, Lester Pugh of
Bartlesville, Okla., Wilbur Pugh of El Dorado, Kan., Russell Pugh of
Bridge Port, Texas, Ervin Pugh of Tulsa, Okla., Raymond Pugh, and Lorran
Pugh of Tulsa, Okla.; and three grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Pugh; and his parents,
Albert Franklin Pugh and Ada Maude Pierce Pugh.

Chauvin Funeral Home is handling the local arrangements.
