Nov 4, 1982 Charlie Winslow Charlie Winslow, 86, a resident of Schriever, died Friday at Thibodaux General Hospital. He was a member of St. Joseph Lodge F & A.M. of Thibodaux and the Young Men's Benevolent Association. Visitation will be 8:30 p.m. Friday at New Magnolia Baptist Church. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Halfway Cemetery in Gray. Survivors include three sons, Lawrence Winslow of Schriever, Johnny Winslow of Houma and Herman Winslow of New Orleans; eight daughters, Mrs. Mable Walker, Mrs. Clara B. Antoine, Mrs. Daisy Harris, Mrs. Carol Ballard all of Schriever, Mrs. Annie M. Wallace of Metairie, Mrs. Rose N. Fletcher of Thibodaux, Mrs. Hazel Gasery of Columbus, Miss, and Miss Albertha Winslow of Gray; one sister, Mrs. Daisy Winston of New Orleans; 67 grandchildren; 115 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Mrs. Alma Brown, Mrs. Hattie Matthews and Mrs. Evelyn Brown; and two brothers, Conway and Johnny Winslow. Community Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
