Hubert Tivet

Hubert Joseph Tivet, 50, died Tuesday afternoon. He was president and
owner of Pipe Cleaning Inc., a 4th degree member of the Knights of
Columbus Council 6170 and an usher at St. Eloi Catholic Church on Bayou
Dularge.

Visitation will begin noon today and continue until 11 p.m., resuming 8
a.m. Thursday until funeral time at Chauvin Funeral Home.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Eloi Catholic Church.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Eunice Marie Theriot Tivet; one son, Kerry
Tivet of Theriot; two daughters, Mrs. Brian (Annette) Poincon and Mrs.
Keith (Sherilyn) Poincon of Bayou Dularge; two brothers, Ivy Tivet of
Bayou Blue and Raymond Tivet of Grand Caillou; four sisters, Mrs. Amelia
Bergeron of Chauvin, Mrs. Esther Pellegrin and Mrs. Leona Theriot of
Grand Caillou and Mrs. Vivian Theriot of Marrero; and five
grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bonita Leco and Frank Tivet; one
son, Terry Tivet; and one brother, Frank Tivet Jr.

Chauvin Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
