Herbert Cox

Herbert Cox, 75, a native and resident of Houma, died Friday at 2:20
p.m.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until
funeral time Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home.

The funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at the Chauvin Funeral Home
Chapel. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery.

Survivors include, his wife, Annie Mae (Dean) Cox; six sons, Larry Cox
of Roswell, N.M., Leon, Anthony, Herbert, David and Nathan Cox all of
Houma; six daughters, Mrs. William (Sadie) Bourque; Mrs. Roy (Beulah)
Bourg II, Mrs. Arthur (Carolyn) Dupre, Mrs. Lonnie (Patsy) Crochet, Mrs.
C.E. (Melba) Bridges, Mrs. Allen (Jo Ann) Malagarie; three brothers,
Freddie Cox of Theriot, Robert Cox of Houma and Manson Cox of Texas
City, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Eubie Roberts of Los Angeles, Calif.,
Mrs. Mandie Cox of Morgan City, Mrs. Zenobie Roberts of Westwego; 23
grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth (LeBlanc) Cox and
Freddie Cox Sr.; a son, Sterling Cox; a daughter, Mrs. Irma Cox.

Chauvin Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
