Johnny Johnson

Religious services have been scheduled for 8 p.m. Thursday at Morning
Star Baptist Church, Brule Road, for Johnny Johnson, 72, who died at 3
p.m. Monday. Dismissal services have been scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday
at the church, with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation has
been scheduled for 5-8 p.m. Thursday and from 9-11 a.m. Friday. He was
the husband of Elnora Henderson Johnson; son of Solomon and Cora
Lawrence Johnson; father of Mrs. Essie Cole and Donald Johnson,
Thibodaux; Mrs. Mary J. Hadley, Raceland; and the late Mrs. Gertie J.
Ward. He was the brother of Solomon and Alexander Johnson, Thibodaux;
William Johnson, Houma; Washington Johnson, Cross City; Fla.; Mrs. Amy
Pharagood, Mrs. Rebecca Washington, Mrs. Florence Hawkins, Mrs.
Priscilla Hawkins and Mrs. Albertha Bennett. He is survived by eight
grandchildren and one great-grandchild
