Grace Williams

Wake and funeral services have been scheduled for 8 p.m. today at
Evening Star Baptist Church, Napoleonville, for Mrs. Grace Williams, 46,
who died at 3 a.m. Friday. Dismissal services have been scheduled for 10
a.m. Wednesday at the church, with interment in the church cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 8 p.m. today. She was the wife of the late
Thomas Williams Sr.; daughter of Edna Miller, Napoleonville; and the
late Thomas Cox Sr.; step-daughter of the late Clarence Miller Sr.;
mother of Diane Cox, Morgan City; Oliver, Calvin, James, Mike, Dennis,
Debora, Brenda, Angle and Lisa Williams, all of Napoleonville; step-
mother of Lashornda Singleton, New. Orleans; and the late Roland
Williams. She was the sister of Daisy Cox and Genevieve Slack,
Thibodaux; Louise Johnson, Edna Jones, Gertie Williams and Sara
Williams, all of Labadieville; Ethel Harris and Elnora Witherspoon,
Baton Rouge; Clarence Cox New Orleans and the late Thomas Cox Jr.;
step-sister of Eula Paul, Gulfport, Miss.; Lory Miller, New Orleans;
Clarence Miller Jr., Napoleonville; and the late Lawrence Miller and
Mary Van Buren. She is survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 step
grandchildren.
