Manford Sorrell

Funeral services were scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. James
Catholic Church for Manford Sorrell Sr. 75, a native and resident of
Vacherie, who died Wednesday at West St. James Hospital. He was the son
of the late Arthur Paul Sr. and Leona Jack Sorrell; husband of Bullah
Jasmin Sorrell; father of Margaret Robinson, Manford Jr., Stephen Sr.,
all of New Orleans, Philip, of Avondale, Rudolph, Ronald and Patricia
Sorrell, all of Vacherie; brother of Laura Bridge, Isabella Harris of
New Orleans, Idell Jackson of Marrero, Seraphine, Priestley and
Bernadette Aubert, of Vacherie and the late Leona Coleman, Harry,
Arthur, Paul Jr., Rose and Albert Sorrell. He is also survived by eight
grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday from 8 to 10 a.m.
Arrangements by Earl Baloney and Sons Mortuary.
