Vidalia C. Gains

Wake services have been scheduled for 8 p.m. today at the Nelson Chapel
AME Church in Napoleonville for Vidalia Curtis Gains, 90, a native of
Port Hudson and a resident of Napoleonville who died Sunday at 11:35
p.m. in Napoleonville. Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Hurvey
Williams, have been scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, with
interment in the church cemetery. She was the mother of Camella Berry
and Leon Murry of Napeleonville and the daughter of the late Richard and
Mary Curtis. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 25
great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was also
preceded in death by one son, eight sisters and six brothers. Williams
and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville is in charge of the
arrangements.
