Leslie (Red Eye) Starks

Wake and funeral services have been scheduled for 8 p.m. today at the
Greater Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in New Orleans for Leslie (Red Eye)
Starks, who died at 4:15 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, [1984] Services will be
held at St. Mark Baptist Church in Labadieville at noon Friday with
interment in the St. Mark Cemetery. He was the husband of Ethal Mae
Starks; father of Eric A. Starks; and the brother of Otis Levy, Percy
Levy, and Linda Richards. He is also survived by two grandchildren. He
was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland Johnson and Dotcy
Randolph. J.T. Willie & Son Funeral Home in New Orleans is handling
arrangements.
