Amelie Lagarde

Funeral services have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Landry's
Funeral Home, Thibodaux, for Amelie "Mim" Lagarde, 73, who died at 10:40
a.m. Monday. Religious services have been scheduled immediately
following at St. Joseph Co- Cathedral, with interment in St. Joseph
Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday and from 8-10 a.m.
Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph Elementary
School, Thibodaux, La., are preferred. She was the daughter of the late
Justin Lagarde and Leontine Toups Lagarde; sister of Mrs. Philip (Marie)
Bouterie Sr., Mrs. George (B.C.) Clause and Leon "Cookie" Lagarde and
the late Mrs. Etienne (Mae) LeBlanc, Mrs. Golbert (Ruby) Faucheaux and
Edwin Lagarde Sr. and Mrs. Ed (Pearl) Haverty. She was the owner and
operator of Wright's Store in downtown Thibodaux. Arrangements by
Landry's.
