Bridget Ayo Nettleton

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Leitz-Eagan
Funeral Home in New Orleans followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at
St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church at 10 a.m. for Bridget Ayo
Nettleton, 81, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Metairie, who died
at 9:06 p.m. Wednesday. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. Friday until
funeral time, with interment in St. Patrick No. 1 Cemetery. She was the
wife of Wilson J. Nettleton Sr.; the mother of Frances N. Sturtz, Wilson
J. Nettleton Jr., and Robert E. Nettleton; the daughter of the late
Clerfe and Marie Keller Ayo; the sister of Leon Ayo, Beulah Deloume,
Dorothy (Peggy) Williams, and the late Sue Ayo Lane. She was also
survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
