Helena W. Gipson

Dismissal services were scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Mount Triumph
Baptist Church, Donaldsonville, for Helena W. Gipson, 57, a native of
Vacherie and resident of Donaldsonville, who died Thursday at 8: 45 p.m.
Interment was scheduled in the church cemetery. She was the wife of
Horace Gipson; mother of Charles, Norman and Gary Gipson, Lois Ann Lee
and Carolyn Starks, all of Donaldsonville and the late Erica Gipson;
daughter of Mr.and Mrs. Eli Watson Sr.; sister of Harold, Willie, and
Steve Watson, and the- late Eli Jr. and Herbert Watson, Augustine Forts,
Patricia James, Betty Martin, Sophia Martin; Rosemary Provost, Ethel
Thompson and Gloria Williams, all of Marrero and Olivia Gipson of
Donaldsonville. Arrangements by Demby & Son Funeral Home of
Donaldsonville.
