Charlie Livas

Funeral services have been scheduled for 8 p.m. today at Gertrude Geddes
Funeral Home, Houma, for Charlie Lives Sr., 67, a native of Houma and a
resident of New Orleans, who died at 3:30 a.m. Monday. Interment is
scheduled in Livas Cemetery, Johnson Ridge. Visitation will be from 6
p.m. until funeral time today at the funeral home. He was the husband of
Ruth Guinn Livas; son of the late Ben and Maggie Rainey Livas; father of
Charlie Livas Jr.; brother of Florence Livas Nolan, Johnson Ridge, and
Elnora Miller, Felix and Rev. Roland Livas, Houma, and the late Lemunal,
Ernest and Irving Livas. He is survived by 10 grandchildren.
