Herbert Johnson

Wake and funeral services have been scheduled for 8 p.m. today at
Gertrude Geddes Funeral Home, New Orleans, for Herbert (Brother)
Johnson, a native of Assumption Parish and a resident of New Orleans,
who died at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday. Dismissal services have been scheduled
for 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with interment in Mount Carmel
Baptist Church Cemetery, Supreme. He was the son of the late William and
Annie Lee Johnson; father of Annie Thompson, Houston; brother of Horace
Clark; foster brother of Mrs. Odile Washington, Mrs. Mary Augustine,
Mrs. Elizabeth Daniels, Willie and Freddie Clark, New Orleans, Rev. L.C.
Clark, Thibodaux, Mrs. Juanita Moore, Napoleonville, David Clark,
Portland, Ore., Mrs. Eula Washington, San Francisco and Mrs. Almatha
Taylor, Houston, and the late Lloyd and Louis Clark. He is survived by
three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
