Morris H. (Mo) Barras

Funeral services from the St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, Arabi, have
been scheduled at 11 a.m. Saturday for Morris H. (Mo) Barras, 62, a
native of Labadieville and a resident of St. Bernard for the past 32
years, who died at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday. There will be a Mass of
Christian Burial in the parlor with interment in St. Vincent De Paul No.
3 Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 p.m. until midnight Friday. He was
the former husband of Hazel Rossignol Barras; father of Morris H. Barras
Jr.; brother of Mrs. Joseph Bolton and Howard Barras; and the
grandfather of Tiffany Barras. He was preceded in death by two sisters;
Gertrude Rareshide and Bertha Fradella; one brother Roy Barras; and his
parents, Donaphile and Desiree Barras. St. Bernard Funeral handling
arrangements.
