Harry Broom

Wake and funeral services have been scheduled at 8 p.m. today at Morning
Star Baptist Church in Raceland for Harry Broom, who died at 1:30 a.m.
Sunday. Dismissal has been scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday. Interment
will be in the church cemetery. He was the father of Irvin Broom, Ada
Broom and Joyce Broom; husband of Agnes Broom; and the brother of Irene
Randall, Corine Col eman Atlas, Milton Broom and Roland Broom. He is
also survived by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by his parents; Beulah R. Broom and Willie Broom Sr.;
a son, Harry Broom Jr.; four brothers; Willie Broom Jr., Freddie Broom,
Simon Broom and Junius Broom; and a sister, Octavia Broom. Arrangements
