Leonicia Plaisance Thibodeaux

Funeral services had been scheduled for 10 a.m. today at Holy Family
Catholic Church in Grand Caillou, for Leonicia Plaisance Thibodeaux, 76,
a native of Cut Off and a resident of Houma, who died at 7 a.m.
Thursday. Interment was to be in Holy Family Number Two Cemetery. She
was the wife of Stanley J. Thibodeaux of Houma; mother of Mrs. Andrew
Rosie Galiano and Camille Lafort, both of Cut Off; step-mother of
Loretta LeBlanc of Houma; and sister of Lucien Plaisance, Louis
Plaisance and Lenora P. Guidry, all of Cut Off. She is also survived by
nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death
by her parents; Jules Plaisance and Celeste Gaudet Plaisance. Falgout
Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
