Lawrence Williams

Funeral services have been scheduled for 8 p.m. today at the Second Zion
Baptist Church in New Orleans for Lawrence Williams, a native of
Labadieville and a longtime resident of New Orleans, who died at 1:40
a.m. Wednesday. Dismissal will be at 10 a.m. Saturday with interment in
St. Vincent No. 2 Mausoleum. He was husband of Audrey M. Williams;
father of Mrs. Joyce Cador and Monha Williams; step-father of Acquanette
Fortina and Keith E. Bornes Sr.; brother of Mrs. Enola Gabriel, Mrs.
Rose Mary Greely, Mrs. Jessie Richardson, Mrs. Josephine Williams,
Clarence Williams and Gilbert Williams. He is also survived by six
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Davis and Rose
Mary Williams; and two brothers, Elijah and Robert Williams.
