The Rev. Clifford Coleman Sr.

Funeral services have been scheduled for noon Tuesday at the St. Paul
Baptist Church in Lafourche Crossing for the Rev. Clifford Coleman Sr.,
55, who died at 11 a.m. Thursday in Houma. Wake services had been
scheduled for 8 p.m. today at the Third Zion Baptist Church in the St.
Charles Community. Interment will be in Bell Baptist Society Cemetery in
Raceland. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Coleman;
husband of Ida Triggs Coleman; father of Clifford Coleman Jr. of
Houston, Arthur L. Coleman and Michael Coleman of Thibodaux, Barbara N.
Alex; Sadie M. Coleman, Jo Anne Folse, Floral Ward and Linda Coleman;
brother of Melvin Coleman Jr., the Rev. Leo Coleman of High-point, N.C.,
the Rev. Joseph Coleman of Belle Glade, Fla., Alvin Douglas, Lenzy
Coleman of New York City, Louella Franklin, Rita Coleman Lawson, Mrs.
Evin Louis, Pearl Lofton, Eula Thomas, Everline Coleman of Thibodaux and
the late Robert and Clinton Coleman. He is also survived by 18
grandchildren. William and Southall Inc. funeral home of Thibodaux is in
charge of arrangements.
