Dewey J. Plaisance

Religious services have been scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the
Holy Savior Catholic Church for Dewey J. Plaisance, 83, a native and
resident of Lockport who died at 8:20 a.m. Monday in Raceland Services
will be from Falgout Funeral Home Inc. of Lockport at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 5:30 to
11 p.m. today and from 7 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday. He was the
husband of the late Carmelite Peters Plaisance by first marriage, and
the late Felecia Breaux by second marriage; father of Herbert Plaisance,
Hubert Plaisance, Robert Plaisance, Mrs. Milton (Ora) Griffin, Mrs. O.J.
(Elva) Ledet, and the late Irvin Plaisance; brother of Mrs. Willie
Larousse and the late Noah Plaisance, Fortune Plaisance, Felix Plaisance
Jr., Freeman Plaisance and Mrs. Andrew Peters. He is also survived by 12
grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Falgout Funeral Home in
Lockport is in charge of arrangements.
