Lucille J. Thomas

Wake and funeral services have been scheduled for 8 p.m. today at Beulah
Baptist Church in Napoleonville for Lucille J. Thomas, 80, a native and
resident of Napoleonville, who died at 9:42 p.m. Tuesday in New Orleans.
Dismissal will be at 11 a.m. Thursday. Visitation will be after 5 p.m.
today at the church. She was the wife of the late Elijah Thomas; mother
of Junius Scott of Oakland, Calif., Gloria M. Dickerson of Hayward,
Calif., and Mary Lee Tyler of Napoleonville; and the sister of Julia
Nelson and Bernadette Johnson of New Orleans. She is also survived by 13
grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
