Everette Burd

Wake services have been scheduled for 8 p.m. Sunday at St. Benedict
Catholic Church, Bertrandville for Everette Joseph Burd, a native and
resident of Napoleonville who died Wednesday at 5:45 p.m. at Thibodaux
General Hospital.

Funeral services have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at the church,
with interment in the church cemetery.

He was the husband of Irma Burd; father of Regina Brown of New Orleans,
Gloria Johnson, Saddie Pimpleton, Claudette Williams and Everette Burd
Jr., all of Seattle, Wash., and Murray Burd of Los Angeles, Calif.;
brother of Vivian Walker of Napoleonville, Anita Pleasant of New
Orleans, Henry Burd of Cut Off, Clifton Burd of Lake Charles, Phillip
Burd of New Orleans, Ulysses Burd of Shreveport, Archie Burd of
Philadelphia, Pa., and Lionel Burd of Donaldsonville, also the late
Theodore Burd Jr. and Mable Andrew; and the son of the late Enola and
Theodore Burd Sr.

He is also survived by 11 grandchildren. William and Southall Funeral
Home, Napoleonville, is in charge of the arrangements.
