Mary Champagne

Religious services were held this morning at St. Anthony Catholic Church
in Luling for Mary Catherine Ford Champagne, 79, a native of Boutte and
a resident of Luling for 60 years, who died at 7 a.m. Wednesday in
Luling.

Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery in Raceland.

She was the mother of Harold, Alvin, Johnny, Jerry, Horace, Charles,
Ronald, Dave, Anthony, Thomas and Patrick Champagne, Pearl Somme and
Bessie Champagne; sister of Joseph, Henry and Patrick Ford, Suzane
Champagne, Rosie Nunez, Edith Aupied and Anna Ford.

She is also survived by 37 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Champagne; son, Morris
Champagne; two brothers, Willie and Peter Ford; and a sister, Martha
Robert.

Arrangements are by Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland.
