Irving Hamilton Sr.

Religious services have been scheduled for 8 p.m. Sunday at Beulah
Baptist Church, Bertrandville, for Irving Hamilton Sr., 94, a native and
resident of Napoleonville, who died Thursday at 9:50 a.m. in Baton
Rouge.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. until religious services at 8 p.m.

Dismissal services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday from the church,
with interment in the church cemetery.

He was the husband of the late Rose M. Hamilton; father of Mildred
Lanier, Muriel (Mell) Sheffie, both of New Orleans, Sedonia Jones of
Freeport, Ill., Irving Hamilton Jr. of San Francisco, Calif., Henry
Hamilton of Napoleonville and Harold Hamilton of New Orleans; and son of
the late Johnnie and Florestine Hamilton.

He is also survived by 41 grandchildren, 71 great-grandchildren and 32
great-great-grandchildren.
