Irving Hamilton

Religious services were held Sunday evening at Beulah Baptist Church in
Napoleonville for Irving Hamilton, 94, a native and resident of
Napoleonville, who died at 9:50 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of the Lake
Regional Medical Center.

Dismissal was this morning with burial in the church cemetery.

He was the father of Mildred Lanier and Meryold "Nell" Sheffie, both of
New Orleans, Sedonia Jones, Freeport, Ill., Irving Hamilton Jr., San
Francisco, Calif., Henry Hamilton, Napoleonville, and Harold Hamilton,
New Orleans.

He is also survived by 41 grandchildren, 71 great-grandchildren, and 32
great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Florestine Hamilton;
and his wife, Rosa M. Hamilton. Williams and Southall Funeral Home in
Napoleonville is handling arrangements.
