Jean E. Cortez

Funeral services have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at St.
Lawrence Catholic Church Hall, Kraemer, for Jean E. Cortez, 62, who died
Monday at 2 p.m.

Visitation has been scheduled from 2 p.m. Wednesday until funeral time
Thursday, with interment in the church cemetery.

He was the husband of Renis Larousse Cortez; father of Edward J., Perry
J., Chuck and Trudy Cortez; and brother of Tousellia Kraemer, Edith
Hotard, Erene Loupe, Yvonne Usea, Eveline and Marceline Loupe, Louis M.,
Moise and Lloyd Cortez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Septime and Marceline D. Cortez
Sr.; and three brothers, Louis, Joseph and Septime Cortez.
