Cecile Plaisance

Funeral services have been scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Community
Assembly of God Church, Bayou Gauche, for Cecile Dufrene Plaisance, 76,
a native of St. Charles and a resident of Bayou Gauche who died Thursday
at 11 a.m.

Visitation has been scheduled from 5-11 p.m. today at the church, with
interment in Green Acres Cemetery in Bayou Gauche.

She was the wife of Euzebe Plaisance; mother of Grace Folse, Azilda
Comardelle, Lucille Matherne, Wilfred and Vincent Dufrenia; and sister
of Whitney and Stella Dufrene.

She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Dufrenia; two sons,
Jimmy and Adam Dufrenia; two daughters, Florince Dufrenia and Kathy
Robinson; three sisters, Lydia Chauvin, Leonelle Plaisance and Anna
Comardelle; and three brothers, Johnny and Fergus Dufrene.

Arrangements are by Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland.
