Benjamin Boykins

Funeral services have been, scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Magnolia
United Methodist Church in Thibodaux, for Benjamin Boykins, 80, a native
of Chacahoula and resident of Thibodaux, who died Sunday.

Wake services are scheduled for 8 p.m. today at the church, with burial
in Blue Lily Cemetery in Thibodaux.

He was the husband of the late Ruth Rounds Boykins; father of Annie M.
Blackledge of Thibodaux, Bertha Morris and Hellen Tillis, both of
Sacramento, Calif., and the late Sgt, Benjamin Boykins Jr.; brother of
Lawrence Boykins of Houma, Gracie Thomas of Hitchock, Texas, and the
late Mary Gilton, and Clarence, Elijah, Alexandra, Thomas and Levi
Boykins.

He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
