Laurena Rodrigue

Funeral services have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of
Prompt Succor Church in Chackbay for Laurena Rodrigue, 87, who died at
8:50 a.m. Tuesday.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:30 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until
funeral time Thursday at Thibodaux Funeral Home.

She was wife of Allen Rodrigue; mother of Leeland, Loyde, Murphy, Willie
and Lucy Rodrigue; and the sister of Eula Rome.

She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and a
great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters, Tissia Folse,
Louise Amedee, Olida, Arto, Abel, Sevors, Wilfred Jr. and James Marse;
and a half-sister, Marie Delatte.
