Francis Paul LeCompte

Funeral Services were scheduled for this morning at St. Genevieve
Catholic Church for Francis Paul Lecompte, 62, who died at 11 p.m.
Monday.

Visitation will be at Thibodaux Funeral Home from 5 to 10 p.m. today and
from 8 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday. A second visitation will be
held at Martin Castille Funeral Home in Lafayette from 4 to 10 p.m.
today and from 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Lafayette
Memorial Park in Lafayette.

He was the husband of Leota Barras LeCompte; father of Francis Jr.,
Richard and David LeCompte, Paulette Plaisance and Maude Bourgeois; and
the brother of Yvonne Thibodaux and Rosalie Luke.

He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife by first marriage, Jeannette Bourg
LeCompte; his parents, Wilfred LeCompte and Nora Cunningham; and three
sisters, Claudia Naquin, Isabelle Adams and Maude LeCompte.
