Margaret Mabel Schmill Smith

Services from St. Anthony Community Center in Luling have been scheduled
at 10:45 a.m. Saturday for Margaret Mabel Schmill Smith, 62, a native
and resident of Luling, who died at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday at Houma.

Religious services will follow at St. Anthony Catholic Church at 11 a.m.
with interment in St. Charles Cemetery.

Friends may call today from 6:30 to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m.
until funeral time.

She was the wife of Harry A. Cologne by second marriage; mother of
Joseph B. Blanchard III, Patricia B. Crochet, Kathleen B. Trauth and
Katherine B. Zeringue; and the sister of Edward, Percy and Thomas
Schmill, Mary Gelande, Molly Diffy, Ella Lirette, Wilhernina McShane,
Lucille Lane, Frances Glass and Berthilde Potter.

She is also survived by 14 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband by first marriage, Joseph B.
Blanchard Jr.; a daughter; Loyola Ann Blanchard; six brothers and
sisters, Charles and Harry Schmill, Dora Schaubhut, Lillian, Betty and
Theresa Schmill; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Schmill.
