Nolan Pitre

Religious services were scheduled for 10 a.m. today from St. Mary's
Catholic Church for Nolan Simon Pitre, 73, a native and resident of
Raceland, who died at 7:50 a.m. Saturday.

He is survived by his wife, Edla Babin Pitre; three sons, Hilton J.,
Murphy P. and Ray A. Pitre; two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Peggy) Boudreaux
and Jeanelle P. Griffin; two brothers, Dewey and Malvin Pitre; two
sisters, Mrs. Albert (Ethel) Foret Jr. and Mrs. Jessie (Rena) LeBlanc;
19 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Lloyd Pitre; and one sister,
Theodoule (Viola) Pertuit.

Interment was to be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Falgout Funeral Home of
Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
