Gladys Brown

Funeral services have been scheduled for 8 p.m. Tuesday at Morning Star
Baptist Church, Brule Road, Thibodaux, for Gladys Burrell Brown, 46, a
native of Thibodaux, who died at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Terrebonne General
Hospital.

Dismissal services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday with interment in St.
Peter Baptist Cemetery on La. 308.Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m.
Tuesday at the church.

She was the wife of Albert Brown Sr. of Thibodaux; daughter of Mrs.
Olivia Burrell of Thibodaux; mother of Albert Jr., Craig, Micheal,
Connie, Keith, Carla, Dwayne, James, Tommy and Barry Brown, all of
Thibodaux; and the sister of Irene Cheatham of Los Angeles, Calif.,
Shirley Moore and Harold Coleman of Houston, Texas, Mary Ann Johnson of
Napoleonville, Barbara Barrow, Eula Mae, Alvin and Lloyd Burrell, all of
Thibodaux.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carroll Burrell Sr.; and two
brothers, Carroll Jr. and Warren Burrell.
