Earnest Lawrence

Wake services have been scheduled for 8 p.m. Friday at New Morning Star
Baptist Church for Earnest "Is" Lawrence, 87, who died at 9:55 a.m.
Wednesday.

Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday with interment in the
church cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 5 p.m. until funeral time at the church.

He was the husband of Lena Williams Lawrence of Thibodaux; and the
father of Aldina Lawrence of Thibodaux.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosaline and Alexander
Lawrence; three brothers, John, Matthews and Thomas Lawrence; and six
sisters, Cora Johnson, Ida Edmonds, Sara Cooks, Edna Marshall, Ouetta
Waller and Carrie Verna.

Arrangements were by Landry's Funeral Home.
