Roland L. Becnel

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday at 8 a.m. followed by funeral
services at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Vacherie Roland L.
Becnel Sr., 61, who died Monday. He was the husband of Honorine
Waguespack Becnel; the father of Andrea Eady, Lynette Paniague, Jeanne
Pittman and Cherise Scull; and the brother of Curtis, Irene, Glenn,
Michel and Remy Becnel and Genevieve Abadie. He is also survived by nine
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Roland L. Becnel Jr.;
his parents, Robert and Elucia Becnel; and brothers Olan, Mark and
Johnny Becnel. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 11 a.m.
Wednesday with interment in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Vacherie.
Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
