Louis J. Gros Sr.

Funeral services scheduled for 1 p.m. today in the Mothe Funeral Home
Chapel, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, for Louis Joseph Gros Sr.,75,
a native of Lockport and resident of Marrero for the past 33 years, who
died Sunday at 8:15 p.m.He was the husband of Lievie Martinez Gros;
father of Mrs. Lucille Morvant, Louis J. Gros Jr., Joyce Guillot, Edith
Morvant and June Craven; brother of Hilda Gomez, Mary Louise Burngarden,
Virgin Allemore, Randolph Gros Sr. and the late Jesse Sr., Freddie,
Johnny and Delta Gros; and son of the late Marie Parr and John Gros.He
is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and one
great-great-grandchild.Arrangements are by Mothe Funeral Home of Gretna.
