Edmond Torres Sr.

Funeral services held today from Millet Funeral Home in, Reserve for
Edmond J. Torres Sr., 80, a native of Vacherie and resident of Reserve
for 61 years, who died Friday.He was the husband of Sylvia Songy Torres;
father of E.J. Torres Jr., Marilyn T. Maurine, Sister Lorraine Torres,
Bryan Torres, Dean Torres, Barbara T. Hill and Bruce M. Duhe; and the
brother of Hortense, Eddie and Netter Torres. He is also survived by 14
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by a
daughter, Sandra T. Duhe; brothers, Ferdinand and Ernest Torres; and
parents, James and Josephine Simon Torres.Interment was in St. Peter
Cemetery in Reserve.
