Lucy Gross Babin

A Mass of Christian Burial was held today from the Gretna Funeral Home
of Leitz-Eagan for Lucy Gros Babin, 73, a native of Labadieville and
resident of Marrero, who died Sunday at 9:25 p.m.

She was the mother of Mrs. Shirley Savoie, Mrs. Joanna LeSieur and
Florence Babin; and the sister of Mrs. Emma Jacobs, and Joachim and
Herman Gros.

She is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence J. Babin Sr.; a son,
Spec. 4C Clarence "Butch" J. Babin Jr.; parents, Sylvester Gros and
Clementine Aucoin; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Loyacano and Florence Babin;
and a brother, Sylvester Gros Jr.

Interment was at Westlawn Memorial Park.
