Edwina Cancienne

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday from St. Hilary
Catholic Church in Mathews for Edwina Callahan Cancienne, 71, a native
of Larose and resident of Mathews, who died today at 6:30 a.m. in
Raceland.

She is survived by her husband, Lester Cancienne; sons, Louis, Alvin and
John Bourgeois; daughters, Mrs. Phillip (Rose) Breaux, Mrs. Richard
(Dolores) Hebert and Mrs. Nolan (Gloria) Hebert; a brother, Felix
Callahan; a sister, Mrs. Adam (Eve) Loupe; 20 grandchildren and 16
great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband by first marriage, Roy
Bourgeois; and parents, Joseph Alex Callahan and Saraphine Dubois.

Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. until funeral time at Falgout
Funeral Home in Lockport.

Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Larose. Falgout Funeral
Home in Lockport is in charge of arrangements.
