Murphy Pitre

Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at St.
Genevieve Catholic Church, Thibodaux, for Murphy "Shawee" Pitre, 67, a
native of Lafourche Crossing and a resident of Thibodaux, who died at
12:45 p.m. Monday.

Visitation is scheduled for 5-10 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until
Funeral time Wednesday at Thibodaux-Landry Funeral Home, Thibodaux.
Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

He was the former husband of Mrs. Hazel M. Guillot; father of Todd B.
Pitre; brother of John, Alfred and Edwin Pitre, Mrs. Harry (Alice Mae)
Malbrough and Mrs. O'Neil (Nita) Thibodaux. He is also survived by one
grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Marie Use' Pitre;
brother, Charlie Pitre; and sister, Mrs. Elsie Faucheaux.
