Ella Mae Grant

Wake and funeral services have been scheduled for 8 p.m. today at New
Mount Zion Baptist Church, Raceland, for Ella Mae Grant, 43, a native of
Smithdale, Miss, and a resident of Cut Off, who died at 6:45 a.m.
Friday.

Dismissal services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today. Interment is in the church cemetery.

She was the wife of John Judge Grant; daughter of Arthur and Ida Mae
Griffin; mother of Vanessa Nobie, Angela Grant of Cut Off, Joseph and
Chris John Grant; and sister of Gracie Lee Gardner and Emma McGowan of
Cut Off. She is also survived by two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, John Grant Jr.; and brothers, David
and Arthur Griffin Jr.Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, is in charge of
the arrangements.
