Edward Cooper

Religious services are scheduled, for 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bell Baptist i
Church, Raceland, for Edward Cooper, 72, a native and resident of
Raceland who died Friday.

Dismissal services are scheduled for noon Thursday at the church, with
interment in the Bell Baptist Benevolent Society Cemetery in Raceland.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

He was the husband of Orelia Cooper of Raceland; father of Susie Shelvy
of Raceland and Herman B. Smith; and brother of Willie Cooper, Charles
Cooper of Raceland, Mercedes Smith and Edmonia Caldwell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Viola Cooper; and
three brothers, James, Joseph and Lionel Cooper.Dorothy Lawless Funeral
Home in New Orleans is in charge of arrangements.
