Viola Picciola

Funeral services were scheduled for 3 p.m. today at Our Lady of Prompt
Succor Catholic Church, Golden Meadow, for Viola Pauline Breaux
Picciola, 81, a native of Gheens and a resident of Golden Meadow who
died Thursday at 8 p.m.

Interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off.

She was the mother of Rodney Picciola and Mrs. Orleans A. (Louella)
Pitre; foster mother of Mrs. Bobby (Joanna) Collins; and sister of Mrs.
Walter (Nola) Barrios.

She is also survived by nine grandchildren, four foster grandchildren,
13 great-grandchildren, six foster grandchildren and one
great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marco Piccola; her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Peter "Pierre" Breaux; and two sons, Joseph and Hewitt
Picciola.Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano was in charge of arrangements.
