Avie M. Gros

Funeral services were held today at St. Philomena Catholic Church in
Labadieville for Avie M. Gros, 85, who died Friday at 2:45 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Pearl P. Gros; sons, Elmo, Neil and Leroy
Gros; a daughter, Mrs. Louis (Lois) Jacobi; a brother, Cletus Gros Jr.;
stepdaughters, Mrs. Ernest Adams and Mrs. Carol Terricine; 23
grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Agnes Gros; second wife,
Clarice Gros; and one brother, Camille Gros.

Burial was in the church cemetery. Landry's Funeral Home was in charge
of arrangements.
