Willie King Jr.

Wake and funeral services are scheduled for 8 p.m. Friday at Moses
Baptist Church, Thibodaux, for Willie "Turner" King Jr., 59, a native of
Thibodaux and a resident of New Orleans who died Jan. 16 at Mercy
Hospital in New Orleans.

Dismissal services are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the church,
with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 5 -
8 p.m. Friday at the church.

He was the husband of Evelyn Randolph King of New Orleans; father of
David and Perry King, both of New Orleans; step-father of Shirley Brown
of New Orleans; and brother of Junius King of Houma, Elmira Ingram of
Schriever, Golena Wright, Eva Mae Broussard, Louise Robertson, Lois
Watkins, Liza Broomfield, Alex, Oliver, Albert and Clarence King, all of
Thibodaux.

He is also survived by six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie "Bud" King and Louise
Lulu King; and one sister, Eula Robinson.Williams and Southall Funeral
Home is in charge of the arrangements.
