Agatha Benoit

Funeral services have been scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady
of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Chackbay for Agatha Breaud Benoit, 91,
a native of Thibodaux and a resident of Chackbay, who died at 6:20 p.m.
Monday.

Visitation is scheduled today 5:50 p.m. until midnight and from 8 a.m.
until funeral time Wednesday at the Chackbay Catholic Center. Interment
will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux.

She was the mother of Joseph "Jack", Clinton, Milton, Joachim "T Hoy"
and Edward Benoit, Mrs. Rita Morvant, Mrs. Lorita Morvant and Mrs. Betty
Louviere; sister of Eddie Breaud and Honora Breaud. She is also survived
by 33 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren and four
great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband,
Alcess Benoit; a daughter, Mary Benoit; parents, Felix and Isabell
Breaud, brothers, Thomas and Morris Breaud; sisters, Edna Oncale and
Esther Naquin; two grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
