Ernest Comeaux

Funeral services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Rosary
Catholic Church for Ernest Jean Comeaux, 73, a native and resident of
Larose, who died Saturday at 5:35 a.m.

Visitation will be today 10:30 a.m.-11 p.m. and from 7 a.m. until
funeral time Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano. Interment is in
the church cemetery.

He was the husband of Belvie Comeaux; father of Loretta Smith and
Catherine Hunter; step-father of Suzanne Annison; and brother of Anna
Bell Berthelot, Mary Louise Bonck, Louis, Lorimer, Lloyd, Roland,
Eugene, Lionel and Clarence Comeaux. He is also survived by 13
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jane LeBlanc Comeaux; son,
Ernest Comeaux Jr.; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Comeaux Sr.; brother,
Honore Comeaux; and sister, Theresa Barrow.
