Jean Gros

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today at Jacob Schoen & Son
Chapel, New Orleans, for Jean A. Gros, 78, a native of Labadieville and
a resident of Metairie, who died at 4 p.m. Monday.

Interment was in St. Philomena Cemetery, Labadieville.

He was the husband of Myrtle Roher; father of Elise G. Plaisance;
brother of Cecile Boney, Marie Himel, Junior and Cyrus Gros. He is also
survived by eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marguerite Pontiff.
