James Vial

Funeral services are scheduled at noon Saturday from Holy Rosary
Catholic Church in Hahnville for James P. Vial, 77, a native and
resident of Hahnville, who died Thursday at 3 p.m.

Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at the
church. Burial is in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Taft.

He was the husband of Irma Simoneaux Vial; father of Irma Lydia Vial
Brou, Judge Mary Ann Vial Lemmon and James P. Vial Jr.; and brother of
Dolores Vial Bonnette. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Inez V. Tinner and Marguerite
V. Montz; brothers, Leon, Lester and Charles Vial; and parents, Leon C.
and Irma Martin Vial.

Donations to Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hahnville or Loyola
University Law School are preferred. Arrangements are by Falgout Funeral
Home Inc.
